Poona College Hosts Prestigious Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony

The esteemed Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was held at AKI’s Poona College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Camp, Pune, celebrating academic excellence and groundbreaking initiatives.

A highlight of the event was the felicitation of Dr. Sayyad Vakeel Ahmad Munaf Ali, CEO and Research Guide at Poona College, for his pioneering efforts in launching the One Click Question Paper Initiative. He was honored by Mr. Hani Farid, Honourable Secretary of Y & M AKI Trust, Mumbai, alongside Dr. Hanif Lakdawala, Trustee of Y & M AKI Trust, Mumbai,  Dr. Iqbal Shaikh, Principal of Poona College and Dr. Amjad Shaikh,Vice-Principal. This initiative marks a significant advancement in academic accessibility and sustainability.

Poona College’s Innovative One Click Question Paper Initiative

In an era of digital transformation, Poona College has introduced an innovative system that provides seamless access to past examination question papers with just one click. This initiative, aimed at students across Arts, Science, and Commerce streams, integrates accessible links and QR codes, granting direct access to the previous three examinations papers.

The One Click Question Paper Initiative is set to benefit nearly 3,00,000 students across 500 affiliated colleges, enhancing academic preparedness while significantly reducing the reliance on printed paper. This milestone marks Poona College as the first institution in the university to implement such an eco-friendly and technologically advanced approach to examination accessibility.

Beyond its academic benefits, this initiative will play a crucial role in environmental conservation by minimizing paper consumption, thereby contributing to a sustainable future. Additionally, it serves as a valuable asset for NAAC accreditation-related documentation, further solidifying the college’s commitment to educational innovation.

Exemplary Performance in Academic Audit

In another moment of pride, the Examination Department of Poona College secured the first rank in the college by achieving a perfect score of 100% in the Academic Audit for 2024-25. This achievement underscores the department’s unwavering commitment to excellence and efficient academic administration.

The Examination Department’s remarkable success was made possible through the unwavering support of Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh and Vice-Principal Dr. Amjad Shaikh. The dedication and hard work of the Examination Committee and staff members of the Examination Department played a pivotal role in reaching this milestone.
