Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh  released a textbook entitled "Fundamentals of Marketing" by Himalaya Publication developed specifically for the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) FYBCOM curriculum.

Dr. Prabhakar Desai, In-Charge Director of the Board of Examination and Evaluation at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), inaugurated the groundbreaking "One-Click Question Paper"project at Savitribai Phule University.

Dr. Iqbal Shaikh ()second from right), Principal, Poona college along with the staff can be seen in the program.

This pioneering initiative by AKI’s Poona College digitizes question papers of April 2025, making them instantly accessible with a single click. The project is set to benefit approximately three lakh students from over 500 affiliated Arts, Commerce and Science colleges under SPPU. Additionally, it promotes environmental sustainability by saving lakhs of printed pages.  

The event was attended by  Poona College authorities and  exam officials including Dr. Iqbal Shaikh Principal , Dr. Sayyad Vakeel CEO and examination department officials Mr. Akbar Pathan and Mr. Azim Tamboli.

So far, Poona College has digitized four previous question papers, potentially aiding 12 lakh students and saving 1.2 crore pages of paper. 

Dr. Prabhakar Desai commended the college for this  socially impactful and eco-friendly initiative, highlighting its significance for students and the environment. He congratulated and appreciated the efforts of Poona college.

This project marks a major step toward digital education and sustainable practices in academia.

*मुख्य बात:* पुना कॉलेज ने पुराने प्रश्नपत्रों को डिजिटल करने की शुरुआत की, ताकि छात्र एक क्लिक में उन्हें देख सकें।  

*फायदा:* 12 लाख छात्रों को मदद मिलेगी, 1.2 करोड़ पेज बचेंगे।  

उद्घाटन संपन्न:* SPPU के डॉ. देसाई ने इसका उद्घाटन किया , पूना कॉलेज के प्रिंसिपल डॉ इकबाल शेख और स्टाफ भी मौजूद थे।  

*तारीफ:* डॉ. देसाई ने कहा कि यह छात्रों और पर्यावरण दोनों के लिए अच्छी पहल है।

 सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विश्वविद्यालय (SPPU) के परीक्षा एवं मूल्यांकन बोर्ड के इंचार्ज संचालक डॉ. प्रभाकर देसाई ने AKI’s पूना कॉलेज में "वन-क्लिक प्रश्नपत्र" परियोजना का उद्घाटन किया। इस कार्यक्रम में कॉलेज के प्रिंसिपल डॉ. इकबाल शेख (दाएं से दूसरे), सीईओ डॉ. सय्यद वकील और परीक्षा विभाग के अधिकारी श्री अकबर पठान और श्री अज़ीम तंबोली भी मौजूद थे।  

यह नई पहल अप्रैल 2025 के कला, वाणिज्य और विज्ञान के 517 प्रश्नपत्रों को डिजिटल बनाती है, जिससे SPPU से जुड़े 500 कॉलेजों के तीन लाख से अधिक छात्रों को फायदा होगा। इससे पर्यावरण भी सुरक्षित रहेगा क्योंकि लाखों पेजों की बचत होगी।  

अब तक, पुना कॉलेज ने पिछले चार प्रश्नपत्रों को डिजिटल किया है, जिससे 12 लाख छात्रों को मदद मिलेगी और 1.2 करोड़ पेज बचेंगे।  

डॉ. देसाई ने पुना कॉलेज की इस सामाजिक और पर्यावरण-अनुकूल पहल की सराहना की और छात्रों के लिए इसके महत्व को रेखांकित किया। उन्होंने पुना कॉलेज के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए बधाई दी।  

यह परियोजना शिक्षा के डिजिटलीकरण और पर्यावरण संरक्षण की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम है।

The Examination Department of Poona College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Camp, Pune, proudly announces the recognition bestowed by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) for its groundbreaking One-Click Question Paper project. The university has issued formal appreciation letters to the Y and M AKI Trust, Mumbai, Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh, Vice-Principal Dr. Amjad Shaikh, and CEO Dr. Sayyad Vakeel for their pioneering efforts in developing this innovative initiative.  

The One-Click Question Paper project is set to benefit approximately 3,00,000 students across 500 affiliated Arts, Science, and Commerce colleges under SPPU. This transformative initiative underscores Poona College's commitment to leveraging technology to enhance academic processes and student experiences.  

In a special ceremony organized by the Examination Department, Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh was felicitated on behalf of the Trust and College for his dynamic leadership and exemplary guidance in spearheading the project.

Vice-Principal Dr. Amjad Shaikh was also recognized for his significant contributions to the initiative. Additionally, Mr. Ismail Sayyed, Registrar, was honored on behalf of the non-teaching staff for their unwavering support.  

A copy of the One-Click Question Paper project was formally presented to Dr. Mohd. Zuber, the college librarian, for archival and reference purposes. The project had previously been communicated to students through the college's official Telegram group, ensuring widespread awareness and accessibility.  

The Examination Department also acknowledged the relentless efforts of its staff and the technical team behind the project. Trophies, cash prizes, and appreciation letters were awarded during the Prize Distribution Ceremony of COMFEST-2025, celebrating their dedication and hard work.  

The event was conducted under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh and Vice-Principal Dr. Amjad Shaikh, with CEO Dr. Sayyad Vakeel coordinating the proceedings.

The acknowledgment comes for their pioneering "One Click Question Paper" project, which revolutionizes access to previous question papers.  
Dr. Sayyad Vakeel, CEO of Poona College, accepted the appreciation letter on behalf of Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh from Dr. Mahesh Kakade, Director of the Board of Examination and Evaluation, SPPU, alongside Dr. Gokuldas Lokhande, the former Deputy Registrar, Examination Section of SPPU. यह परियोजना, जो कला, विज्ञान, और वाणिज्य पाठ्यक्रमों के प्रश्न पत्रों तक केवल एक क्लिक में पहुंच प्रदान करती है, लगभग 3 लाख छात्रों और 500 संबद्ध कॉलेजों को लाभान्वित करेगी।
